Kazakh President met with heads of World Jewish Congress

President of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress Alexander Machkevitch, Executive Vice Chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations Malcolm Hoenlein, Mark B. Levin, Executive Director of National Conference on Soviet Jewry, President of the World Jewish Congress Ronald S. Lauder and Chairperson of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations Alan Solow attended the meeting.

In an interview after the meeting A. Solow informed that they discussed the topical issues of international relations, including the situation in Palestine. Besides, the results of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev's meeting with US President Barack Obama were discussed.

A. Solow noted that Kazakhstan could serve as a pattern for other countries as a state with the balanced policy promoting preservation of interethnic and inter-religious accord.
