Kazakh President meets General Electric CEO

The meeting was held within the framework of the Foreign Investors Council under the President of Kazakhstan in the village of Burabay in Akmola region.

During the talks the parties discussed the main directions of cooperation in various fields including oil and gas infrastructure, energy, transportation, and healthcare.

Nursultan Nazarbayev noted the active investment activities of the company in Kazakhstan. The parties noted the successful interaction between "General Electric" units, government agencies and national companies of our country. In addition there have been considered a number of infrastructure and transport projects.

"General Electric" is one of the largest foreign companies operating in Kazakhstan. Representative office in Almaty was opened in 1994.
