Kazakh President launches ball-rolling mill in Pavlodar

The project, worth KZT 600 million, will manufacture rolled steel balls and create a competitive and import-substituting production. The plant will provide local mining industry enterprises with steel balls and, in the future, export the goods to the states of the Customs Union and Central Asia. The factory has modern, technologically innovative equipment of the Italian manufacturer "Sider Engineering". According to the director of "KSP Steel" LLP Edward Kreymer, who reported to the Head of State during the meeting on the implementation of the state program of forced industrial-innovative development, the project aims to satisfy 100% domestic demand and export the goods to Central Asia. The plant's design capacity is 48 thousand tons per year. The project will create 69 new jobs. "The new production is our contribution to the industrialization of the country", said E.Kreymer.
