Kazakh President, King of Jordan discuss bilateral cooperation in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has met today with King Abdullah II of Jordan who is in Astana for a working visit, the Akorda press service reports.
According to the press release, the two leaders discussed various issues concerning bilateral relations, including the topic of boosting cooperation in commercial and economic, investment, scientific-technical and cultural-humanitarian spheres. Nursultan Nazarbayev and Abdullah II exchanged views on the pressing issues of the international agenda. President Nazarbayev praised close and trust-based relations between the two leaders. The Head fo State also stressed that Jordan plays an important role in the Middle East. Abdullah II expressed his gratitude for the invitation to visit Kazakhstan and on behalf of the Jordanians thanked Nursultan Nazarbayev for continued support in many issues, including the Syrian refugees crisis.
