Kazakh President invited Romanian businessmen to take part in country's industrialization

ASTANA. March 2. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev invited Romanian businessmen to take part in the industrialization of Kazakhstan. The Kazakh President said it at the enlarged meeting with President of Romania Traian Basescu.

"Kazakhstan is ready to cooperate with Romania in many directions, in particular, in energy, transport and communications, agriculture and consumer goods spheres", N.Nazarbayev said.

Besides, the Kazakh President noted that Romania is one of the key economic partners in Central Asia and East Europe of the country. The trade turnover was up to USD 800 mln last year.

To date, 35 Kazakh-Romanian enterprises function in the country's oil and gas filed and in the sphere of delivery of the equipment for thermal power plants, construction and trade.
