Kazakh President held sitting on issues of preparation for OSCE Summit
Chairman of the Senate and Majilis K. Tokayev and U. Mukhamedzhanov, Prime Minister K. Massimov, Secretary of State - Minister of Foreign Affairs K. Saudabayev, Chief of the Presidential Administration A. Mussin and other top officials took part in the sitting.
On August 3 the OSCE Foreign Ministers' Council made a final decision on holding of the organization's summit in Astana on December 1-2. Leaders of 55 countries, 65 international organizations, many delegations and mass media - in all about several thousand guests will come to Kazakhstan.
During the sitting the President emphasized that it was necessary to organize and hold that historical meeting at the highest level.
"It is a great honor for us and this is our responsibility to hold the summit at a high level, show our country and the opportunities of our young capital", N. Nazarbayev said.
