Kazakh President held meeting with Turkey President

ANA. October 2. KAZINFORM Kazakh President N.Nazarbayev has arrived in Nakhchivan city (Azerbaijan) where he met with Turkey President Abdullah Gul on the eve of the IX summit of Heads of the Turkic-speaking countries, Kazinform refers to the Presidential press service.
The sides discussed topical issues of the Kazakh-Turkish cooperation at the meeting.
N.Nazarbayev noted that Kazakhstan recognizes Turkey as a strategic partner cooperation with which is distinguished by stability and traditional intention of two states to extend and deepen political, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian contacts. He expressed assurance that the sides will discuss the issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Turkey in more details within the coming official visit of the Kazakh President to Turkey.
