Kazakh President familiarized with construction of new Opera and Ballet Theater

ASTANA. October 31. KAZINFORM Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev visited the Classical Opera and Ballet Theatre under construction in Astana, Kazinform has learnt from the Presidential press service.
Nursultan Nazarbayev got familiarized with the new theater's construction process and surrounding area improvement.
The Head of State noted it was necessary to train and involve highly qualified Kazakh experts to this project.
The theater prides on an audience hall for 1,250 spectators with forestage, orchestra pit, parterre and a small hall for chamber music for 250 seats. A ballet studio will be created for training of young generation of ballet dancers. Design of the Opera and Ballet Theatre meets international standards and takes into account the world experience in the construction of buildings of this kind.
