Kazakh President called on Dutch companies to actively participate in EXPO-2017

ASTANA. KAZINFORM President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte discussed a wide range of issues, the Akorda press service said.A wide range of bilateral issues, including the key aspects of the international agenda, situation in Ukraine were debated.
Nuclear disarmament and nuclear security, widening of trade and economic, investment, scientific and technical, energy cooperation were given particular attention. The parties also discussed the programme of the Nuclear Security Summit set for March 24. The Kazakh President noted the significance of bilateral cooperation in agriculture and innovation fields and called on the Dutch companies to take an active part in EXPO 2017 in Astana.
At the end of the meeting the parties signed a memo of understanding on political consultations between the Foreign Affairs Ministries of the Netherlands and Kazakhstan and an agreement on the foundation of the Business Council.
