Kazakh President acquainted with construction of “Bolashak” plant in Atyrau

RAU. September 30. KAZINFORM /Andrei Sokolov/ Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev paying working visit to Atyrau region has got acquainted with the process of construction of oil and gas treatment unit of "Bolashak" plant.
The builders of the plant thanked the President for the support of the local goods producers. The President said that the Law on the Kazakh content in every investment project will be adopted in Kazakhstan soon.
As the Head of the State was informed, today 20500 people are employed at the construction site of the plant. Accomplishment of the construction is scheduled in 2010.
The total cost of the plant that is one of the main in the North Caspian project on the development of the Kazakh part of the Caspian shelf is up to USD 3.9 bln. The capacity of the plant is 450 thousand barrels of Kashagan oil per day or 22.5 mln tons per year.
