Kazakh political scientists get together at II Congress in Almaty
Besides, the participants considered the issues of development of the national theoretical and applied political science especially in Kazakh language one including priorities of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in OSCE and etc. According to Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Maulen Ashimbayev the objective of the community of political scientists includes analysis of internal and external political processes. These researches can be the basis for practical decisions in further.
He also noted that the development of the theoretical science is insufficient. During last 10 years since 1999-2009 the number of defended thesis works on political science amounted to 210 among which are 50 doctorate works and 160 are PhD ones. Some part of the researches was devoted to several topics whereas the most part of the works research the same topics.
"So called practicing political scientists retained by the interests of political players often express subjective evaluation and in some cases they deliberately give a corrupted evaluation to the processes existing in the country. Meanwhile the country needs objective and quality research both theoretical and applied character to explain the essence of existing processes", - M. Ashimbayev said.
