Kazakh-Polish trade turnover has sustainable growth tendency
In accordance with the statistics of Kazakhstan, upon the results of 11 months of 2009 the bilateral trade turnover was up to USD 1.1 bln. The figure was increased by 40% compared to the corresponding period of 2008. The Kazakh export to Poland amounted to USD 725.7 mln, and the Polish import to Kazakhstan - USD 366.3 mln.
Poland remains one of the main European business partners for Kazakhstan. The country takes leading positions in the volume of trade turnover with Kazakhstan among the Central Asian and East European countries, and holds the seventh place among 27 EU member states and 15th place among the world business partners of Kazakhstan.
Therefore, despite the global financial and economic crisis, Kazakhstan and Poland did not slowdown the trade-economic cooperation. They even overcame all challenges and achieved billionth index in mutual trade, the press service informs.
