Kazakh PM visits Aisha Bibi Mausoleum in Zhambyl region

ZHAMBYL REGION. June 8. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Making a working trip to Zhambyl region Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov has visited the Aisha Bibi Mausoleum today.
Aisha Bibi Mausoleum is an 11th or 12th-century historical monument located in the village of Aisha Bibi, 18 km west of Taraz, Kazakhstan.
The mausoleum is a unique monument in Central Asia, entirely reveted carved terracotta with the richest оrnaments in the form of tiles, eaves, stylish writings. It is registered on UNESCO World Heritage List.
During the period of 2002-2005 the mausoleum was reconstructed.
