Kazakh PM urges Justice Ministry to maximally approach OSCE standards

ASTANA. January 16. KAZINFORM. /Serik Sabekov/ Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov has charged the Ministry of Justice to keep working maximally corresponding to the OSCE standards.
The Premier reminded that on January 1, 2010 Kazakhstan assumed the chair of the OSCE. "For a variety of reasons both in the internal and foreign policy there will be a lot of criticism against the authorities. Thus it is important to coordinate our work and maximally approach the OSCE standards and commitments we entered into in order to move on", he noted.
Mr. Massimov emphasized that it covered all areas of activity beginning from the Committee of the Criminal Executive System. "Our work is criticized by foreign experts. We should improve it and promulgate in all other directions. The world should know Kazakhstan as a legal state", he added.
