Kazakh PM urges Government to finalize Affordable Housing 2020 Program within a month

ASTANA. March 6. KAZINFORM At today's meeting the Kazakh Government discussed the issues of housing construction in light of implementation of the President's instruction to provide population with qualitative and affordable housing.
In his State of the Nation Address Nursultan Nazarbayev urged the Government to develop the program "Affordable Housing 2020" till 1 July 2012.
Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov instructed First Vice Premier Serik Akhmetov to "hold a meeting of the State Commission on Economy Modernization in March so that in April we can adopt the program."
He also charged to include the project G4 City and the program for the demolition of dilapidated housing in Astana into the program Affordable Housing 2020.
"This is a key program, which will influence on the execution of the President's instructions," Massimov concluded.
