Kazakh PM to take part in SCO session in Beijing

ASTANA. October 12. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ "Standing session of the Council of Heads of Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO CHS) will be held in Beijing on October 14. Kazakh delegation headed by Prime Minister Karim Massimov will take part in the session", official representative of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry Yerzhan Ashikbayev has said at the briefing.
"Heads of States will discuss prospects and measures on deepening of the economic and humanitarian cooperation between the SCO member-states under multiplication of global and regional challenges, in particular, the international financial crisis", he said.
The role of the Business Council and the Interbank Association of the SCO in the realization of the Action Plan on carrying out of the Program of multilateral trade-economic cooperation of the SCO member-states will be discussed as well. Besides, the sides will discuss the budget of the Organization for 2010 and a range of other issues connected with financial and organizational activity of the SCO's standing bodies.
