Kazakh PM received Finland Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade
The sides exchanged their views on the current situation in global economy and discussed the future visit of Finland President to Kazakhstan scheduled to April 2013.
"I suppose we are needed to enlarge economic cooperation spectrum, combining trade relations with establishing joint productions in Kazakhstan and adoption of new Finnish technologies, developing transit potential," the Kazakh Prime Minister said.
"We welcome the participation of Finnish businesses in major breakthrough projects in the sphere of energy, engineering, innovation and transfer of new technologies aimed at diversifying the economy of Kazakhstan and the development of high-tech and export-oriented production," the head of the Government told.
In turn, A. Stubb stressed Finland supports Kazakhstan application to host EXPO-2017. "Astana is a modern, prosperous city, and Kazakhstan's economy is one of fast growing in the world and demonstrates impressive success," the Finland Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade added.
Besides, important agreements in trade economic sphere are expected to be reached during the A. Stubb's visit.
