Kazakh PM outlines key economic targets

ASTANA. October 5. KAZINFORM At today's enlarged session of the Nur Otan faction Kazakh Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov made public the key economic targets.
According to him, since the beginning of the year despite the escalation of the crisis in Europe and slowing down of the economy in the EU countries and US the country's economic progressive advance continues.
"The GDP since the beginning of 2012 has risen by 5.6%. The country's macroeconomic and financial stability remains. Inflation for the past 9 months reached 3.9% against 6.2% in 2011," Akhmetov said.
"The national reserves with account of the National Fund means starting this year have increased by USD10.9 bln to make USD 83.8 bln. The income of Kazakhstanis increased as well. The average salary grew by 12.7% for January- July exceeding KZT 98 000. the unemployment dropped to 5.2%."
