Kazakh PM chairs session on development of network of preschool education institutions in Astana

There were listened to reports of heads of the central executive bodies and Astana Mayor Imangali Tasmagambetov on return of buildings of former kindergartens, which are occupied by the state structures, to community property. As a result of the 14 buildings return only in Astana there will be opened additionally about 3.000 seats for children of preschool age.                                                                                                                                  

As is known, earlier the Government defined measures of short-term and middle-term character directed to the opening of additional seats and establishments of preschool education in the country.

As a result of measures taken at present 24.500 additional seats will be opened in kindergartens countrywide till the end of the year. In 2010 it is planned to open 74.300 seats in the preschool education establishments.

Following the results of the sitting the Prime Minister gave a number of instructions to the persons responsible for organizing execution of the measures.
