Kazakh Parliament ratifies convention relating to international exhibitions

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan has ratified the convention relating to international exhibitions as of November 22, 1928, supplemented by the protocols and the amendments.
The convention sets the timeframes of the exhibitions, customs regime and procedure. According to the Protocol to the convention as of November 30, 1972, the international exhibitions are divided into universal and specialized exhibitions. The duration of the exhibitions may be no more than six months. The convention also defines the obligations of the inviting Government - organizer of the exhibition and participating countries.
