Kazakh Parliament held meeting dedicated to its 15th anniversary

ASTANA. January 31. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Parliament of Kazakhstan held a meeting dedicated to the 15th anniversary of its foundation. The meeting was opened by Chairman of the Senate Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev. The press service of the Majilis informs.
The national anthem of Kazakhstan was played at the meeting. Chairman of the Majilis Ural Mukhamedzhanov reported on establishment and development of bicameral Parliament at the meeting. Deputies of both Houses of the Parliament took part in the meeting, representatives of the Government, political parties, diplomatic missions, public organizations, religious confessions, NGOs and mass media participated in it as well.
Photo and book exhibitions dedicated to the 15th anniversary were opened today in the Parliament.
