Kazakh Parliament discusses bill on increase of jurisdiction of trial jury

ASTANA. February 5. KAZINFORM /Kurmat Samarkhan/ ?A bill on increase of jurisdiction of the trial jury was introduced in the Parliament?, Chairman of the Board on civil cases of the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan Musabek Alimbekov, Kazinform reports.
As the chairman noted, the activity of the trial juries proved its importance in establishment of juvenile judiciary, humanization of criminal legislation.
According to M. Alimbakov, 42 criminal cases were considered at the courts of the Republic with participation of jury last year.
