Kazakh paratroopers take bronze at Cambrian Patrol competition in UK
Paratroopers from Kazakhstan finished 3rd at the Cambrian Patrol international competition held in Wales, the UK from October 4 to 12, Kazinform News Agency learned from the Kazakh Ministry of Defense.

The competition included several stages. Throughout two weeks the paratroopers were involved in studying the general situation, security measures, topography, tactical and medical training. The active phase of the competition was held from October 10 to 12.
This year, the competition brought together more than 100 patrols from 38 countries, and only 12 best ones reached the final stage. The participants covered a distance of more than 70 km long, carrying out combat missions. Each of them carried over 30 kg of cargo. Within 48 hours, the military personnel carried out complex combat missions, including operations in conditions of chemical and biological threats, assault operations and navigation in hard-to-reach areas.

The servicemen of the Air Assault Forces of Kazakhstan successfully completed all the tests, demonstrating a high level of training and professionalism, and won a bronze medal. The Cambrian Patrol is one of the most prestigious and challenging military competitions, held for over 60 years.
Every year, it brings together military intelligence units from all over the world. Participation in these competitions has become a symbol of the highest military excellence and underlines a high level of training and combat readiness of Kazakh military personnel.
