Kazakh Ombudsman met with French Ambassador

ANA. February 17. KAZINFORM. Human Rights Commissioner of Kazakhstan Askar Shakirov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Kazakhstan Jean-Charles Berthonnet and briefed him on the main activities of the Ombudsman's Office; Kazinform refers to the press service of the Office of the Commissioner.
The diplomat was acquainted with the state activities in the field of human rights in the context of realization of the President's Address to the Nation and Legal Policy Concept of Kazakhstan for 2010-2020.
The sides expressed common opinion that Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the OSCE would give additional impulse to such activities.
