Kazakh Ombudsman met with delegation of OSCE Ambassadors

ANA. October 21. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan Human rights Commissioner Askar Shakirov has met with a delegation of the OSCE Ambassadors in Astana today.
A. Shakirov informed the foreign deputies of the main directions of his work and acquainted them with the legal base regulating the activity of the Kazakh ombudsman.
The Ambassadors expressed interest in participation of the Kazakh Ombudsman in law-making sphere, working as a mediator in human rights protection between the state bodies and civil sector.
The parties expressed satisfaction with the constructive dialogue and confirmed readiness for further interaction within preparation for Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship, Kazinform cites the press service of the Kazakh Ombudsman.
