Kazakh Oil and Gas Minister will participate in World Petroleum Council’s forum in Canada

ASTANA. October 22. KAZINFORM Kazakh Oil and Gas Minister Uzakbai Karabalin will participate in the IV Forum of the World Petroleum Council in Canada, to be held from October 22-24, spokesman for the central communications service under the Kazakh President Altai Abibullayev said at a briefing yesterday.
"Kazakh Oil and Gas Minister Uzakbai Karabalin intends to participate in the IV Forum of the World Petroleum Council in the Canadian city of Calgary on October 22-24," he said.
Abibullayev said that Astana has made a bid to host the World Petroleum Congress in 2017. Along with Astana, Houston, Istanbul and Copenhagen have also made bids, Kazinform refers to trend.az.
"Voting will be held on October 23," Abibullayev added.
