Kazakh nuclear tests victims' monument to be unveiled in Europe

ASTANA. June 13. KAZINFORM /Murat Zhakeyev/ "An unveiling ceremony of the monument to the victims of nuclear tests will take place on June 16 in Belgium," a spokesman for the Kazakh MFA told a briefing in Astana.
The monument will be erected in one of the famous museums of Belgium and Europe "In Flanders Fields Museum", devoted to the study of the World War I and peace.
"The said monument was handed over to Belgium on behalf of Kazakhstan to Prime Minister Yves Leterme during an official visit of Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Brussels last October," he added.
