Kazakh, Netherlands FMs discussed OSCE agenda

THE HAGUE. June 5. KAZINFORM. /Yerzhan Ospanov/ As reported earlier, yesterday Kazakh Minister of Foreign Affairs Marat Tazhin visited the Kingdom of the Netherlands. He held restricted and extended talks with his Dutch counterpart Maxime Verhagen.
The parties exchanged opinions on perspective directions of cooperation both in bilateral and multilateral formats, including oncoming Kazakhstan?s chairmanship in the OSCE in 2010. In this context the ministers discussed the organization?s agenda and agreed to continue consultations on joint promotion of concurring interest in all three dimensions of the OSCE. M. Tazhin invited M. Verhagen to visit Kazakhstan.
The sides signed a memorandum of understanding between the foreign affairs ministries of the two states. The document envisages holding of consultations and meetings to develop bilateral political, economic, scientific, technological, environmental and cultural cooperation as well as enhance interaction within the framework of regional and international organizations.
