Kazakh Nat'l Security Committee and Russian Federal Security Service discuss coop in fight against terrorism

ASTANA. August 21. KAZINFORM Questions to enhance international cooperation in the fight against international terrorism were discussed in Astana at the 10th meeting of the heads of intelligence services in Kazakhstan and Russia, the press service of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan informs
At the meeting the chairman of the National Security Committee Nurtai Abykayev and Director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov summed up collaboration over the past year. The both parties shared experience in the field of counter-terrorism, counter-terrorism enhance preparedness, and security of major public events.
Following the event, both sides expressed their common interest in further development of dialogue and praised the strategic partnership between the security services.
