Kazakh MPs suggest lightening punishment for alleged speeding offence

ASTANA. December 25. KAZINFORM Today, Majilis (Lower Chamber of the Kazakh Parliament) has approved the bill "On amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the issues of road traffic".
On top of everything else, the MPs proposed an amendment to the bill to get the punishment for speeding over 40 km per hour lightened.
The Majilismen suggested replacing disqualification with a fine in the amount of 30 MCI (minimum calculation index) for alleged speeding offence.
