Kazakh monetary policy to aim at reaching inflation rate of 6-8%

ASTANA. January 26. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ The Kazakh monetary policy will aim at reaching the inflation rate within the average range of 6-8%. Kazakh Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Bakhyt Sultanov has said it today at the session of the Government.
"The other objectives including the tenge exchange rate will provide realization of the forecasts regarding inflation", the Minister said.
Besides, according to B.Sultanov, the exchange rate policy will be oriented at provision of balance between the internal and external competitiveness of the Kazakh economy.
