Kazakh model of interethnic accord recognized worldwide - Culture Minister M. Kul-Mukhammed
'The policy of our country is aimed at preserving interreligious and intercultural relations in the country. About 130 nationalities and ethnic groups live in Kazakhstan in peace. Over the time of independence we have improved the legislation system regarding interethnic relations. The Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan is established in Kazakhstan, Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed noted.
According to him, Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the Organization of the Islamic Conference should be considered as the dialogue between west and east. 'Our tolerant and peaceful policy is known world wide and it is highly esteemed. Next step toward the pointed direction became the Doctrine of National Unity which was discussed by all interested sides. The Government already approved the plan of its realization', the Mister of Culture said.
