Kazakh mining industry output made KZT 1.5 trn for Jan-Feb

ASTANA. April 7. KAZINFORM Monetary equivalent of extracted production of the country's mining industry for January-February reached KZT 1.5 trn that is 4.6% more against the analogous period of the previous year, the press service of the Industry and New Technologies Ministry reports.
Metallurgical industry overall production made KZT 292.2 bln. Above 7% of GDP accounted for mining and smelting enterprises. Its share in the export reached 20%. In 2010 the country exported goods worth USD 8 bln that is 39% more than 2009 figures.
