Kazakh, Malaysian FMs discussed bilateral cooperation
The parties focused on state and prospects of Kazakhstan-Malaysia cooperation. The meeting of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and Prime Minister of Malaysia Najib Tun Razak within the latter's upcoming visit to our country in 2011 will give a new impetus to the bilateral cooperation, the parties stated.
The ministers agreed to hold negotiations in Astana in order to prepare for the oncoming top-level meeting and discuss the urgent issues of bilateral interaction within the international organizations.
D. Aman congratulated Kazakhstan on successful chairmanship in the OSCE and said that his country expected much from our presidency in the OIC. The Malaysian FM expressed also readiness to support Astana by Kuala Lumpur in this mission. K. Saudabayev, in turn, expressed hope for further activation of the countries' relations.
