MINSK. KAZINFORM President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has called on the West and Russia to end the standoff over sanctions.
As the President noted, reciprocal sanctions lead economic potential of countries to decline, make ordinary people suffer, trigger off social tension and bring to a new round of world recession. Nursultan Nazarbayev noted that Kazakhstan is interested in further strengthening of mutual benefit trade and economic cooperation both with CU member states and Ukraine and the EU. "Therefore, we are ready to seek for and debate ways to improve multilateral trade relations," the Head of State stressed.
