Kazakh Leader took part in High-level Meeting on Nuclear Safety and Security

The meeting enjoyed the participation of heads of the UN member countries. Amid the heightened attention given to the issue of nuclear safety and security in recent months, world leaders convened there to discuss how to advance this goal as well as to promote the entry into force of the treaty that bans all nuclear testing.

Addressing the high-level meeting the President said that nuclear security is triune unity of protection of humanity from nuclear weapons, counteraction of potential nuclear terrorism, and nuclear power security, the Presidential press service informs.

The President underlined that one of the main tasks is to search for new approaches to nuclear safety.
