Kazakh Leader launches one of the biggest industrial projects in Aktau

ASTANA. December 20. KAZINFORM Today, Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has given green light to the launch of production of asphalt cement in Aktau. This is a joint project of "KazMunayGas" JSC and China City Group.
According to President Nazarbayev, the asphalt cement production at the Aktau plastic materials plant will fully cover the needs of domestic road-building industry.
It was noted that the joint Kazakh-Chinese project is one of the largest within the State Program of Advanced Industrial and Innovative Development. The enterprise is expected to produce up to 450 000 tons of asphalt cement per year.
