Kazakh Leader contributes to mutual rapprochement of the Islamic world and West, view

ASTANA. KAZINFORM "Nursultan Nazarbayev does a lot for the rapprochement of the West and the East. The Global Islamic Finance Award (GIFA) is the bright evidence to that fact," director for scientific research projects of the Democracy Institute Association Julia Kuchinskaya told Kazinform.
"Undoubtedly, this award was given to the Head of State in appreciation of his merits to the Islamic world," she stressed. "It is crucial to form positive image of Islamic countries, reorient economies and build up more opener approach," she added.
