Kazakh lawmakers have a lot of work to do in 2015 - Tokayev
"Together with the Government, the lawmakers accomplished the demanding task by adopting more than 100 laws in 2014. Marked by numerous challenges worldwide, this year has proved it is important to be ready to make prompt decisions. We have a lot of work ahead in the upcoming year," Mr. Tokayev noted. The Senate Speaker stressed that successful implementation of the Nurly zhol program for the benefit of the country is a historical responsibility imposed by the Head of State. He reminded that Kazakhstani lawmakers are to ensure legislative support of all major projects implemented in the republic. K. Tokayev also pointed out that the Eurasian Economic Union becomes effective in a matter of days and the MPs are expected to protect Kazakhstan's interests within the EEU.
