Kazakh-Korean Technology Cooperation Center opened in Astana

TANA. August 26. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ The Kazakh-Korean Technology Cooperation Center has been opened in the National Innovation Fund JSC today.

The Center is aimed at development of innovative activity and partnership relations between entities of the innovative activity of Kazakhstan and Korea.

The Center will operate as an open, permanent platform for organization of interaction between the Kazakh and Korean organizations in the sphere of technologies transfer. Its main functions are establishment of cooperation between the two countries' companies by dissemination of information, searches for investors, partners and technologies, coordination of joint scientific research and innovation projects, organization of joint programs on training in the sphere of creation and management of innovations.

"I am confident that a number of breakthrough innovative projects will go after implementation of bilateral agreements. I am sure that in the near future we will open the similar center in Korea," Vice Minister of Industry and New Technologies Kanysh Tuleushin said.
