Kazakh Justice Minister held meetings in Sofia

ASTANA. June 9. KAZINFORM Kazakh Minister of Justice Rashid Tusupbekov has arrived in Sofia with the first official visit today within the realization of ?Path to Europe? state program for 2009-2011 and in accordance with commissions of the President to activate cooperation between Kazakhstan and states of the Black Sea region, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Ministry.

R.Tusupbekov met with Bulgarian Minister of Justice Miglena Tacheva and informed his colleague on socio-economic development of Kazakhstan, legislative reform, priorities of the OSCE chairmanship in 2010 and ?Path to Europe? state program. The sides discussed the issues of organization of mutual trainings, international conferences and workshops for cooperation in the field of development of legislative acts and analysis of the Kazakh legislation. Issues of holding of trainings, seminars and career development courses for members of the justice bodies, establishment of cooperation with the European network of organizations of the forensic examination were discussed as well. Issues of realization of the agreements, achieved by the Justice Ministers of Central Asia and the EU in November, 2008 in Brussels were discussed. Upon the results of the meeting the sides signed a Memo on cooperation between the Kazakh and Bulgarian Ministries, defining particular direction of interaction in the legal sphere. R.Tusupbekov met with First Deputy Solicitor General of Bulgaria Valeriy Parvanov and Chairman of the Supreme Court of Cassation of Bulgaria Lazar Gruev. The sides discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation of common interest.
