Kazakh judoka Kamila Berlikash crashes out of 2024 Olympic Games
Today, August 2, Kazakhstani judoka Kamila Berlikash lost her first bout in the women’s +78kg weight class at the 2024 Olympic Games ongoing in the Champ de Mars Arena in Paris, Kazinform News Agency reports.

Adiyasuren Amarsaikhan of Mongolia beat Kamila Berlikash in the Judo - Women +78 kg Elimination Round of 32.
Kamila Berlikash is a native of Taldykorgan. She was born in November 9, 1999.
It bears to remind that judoka Yeldos Smetov claimed Kazakhstan’s first gold medal in judo. He won silver at the 2016 Rio Olympics and bronze at the 2020 Tokyo Games.
Judoka Gusman Kyrgyzbayev won bronze medal of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris on July 28. He defeated Strahinja Bunčić from Serbia in men’s 66kg.
Apart from two medals in judo, Kazakhstan also captured one bronze in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team competition in Paris earlier.
The 2024 Summer Olympics, branded as Paris 2024, is an international multi-sport event being held between July 24 and August 11, 2024, in France.
