Kazakh-Israeli coop in agriculture discussed

ASTANA. April 15. KAZINFORM Kazakh Minister of Agriculture Akhylbek Kurishbayev has met with Co-Chairman of the Kazakh-Israeli Intergovernmental Commission on trade and economic cooperation, Minister of Industry, Trade and Labor Benjamin Ben-Eliezer today, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Ministry.

Prospect of development of the bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture, in particular, poultry breeding, livestock breeding, technologies of sustainable use of water resources and drop irrigation as well as the issues of development of agricultural science were discussed at the meeting.
The sides complimented the process of realization of agreements on establishment of Kazakh-Israeli Fund for Agrarian Studies achieved by the Presidents of two states within the visit of Israeli President Simon Peres to Kazakhstan last year.
Besides, the sides stressed the necessity of acceleration of signing of new cooperation agreement in the agro-industrial sphere.
