Kazakh Internal Affairs Ministry: During spring field work security measures on local roads will tighten

In order to prevent accidents with agricultural transportation the road police departments are planning to carry out a series of activities aimed at maintaining discipline among transport drivers engaged in the planting season.

It is planned to conduct a survey of roads along the route of vehicles involved in the spring field work and the adoption of measures to improve traffic management.

In order to prevent accidents involving farm machinery when oversize vehicles are moving on the roads there will be mandatory support with traffic police patrol cars.

However, in the past, there were cases of serious accidents involving farm machinery, when, because of irresponsible leading persons who allowed undisciplined drivers to drive a vehicle when drunken, whose fault killed and maimed people causing significant property damage.

"All vehicles must meet all technical requirements and be in proper condition for work in the field, and for leaving the territory of the household", said the chairman of the Committee of the traffic police Berik Bisenkulov. "Faulty brakes and steering, broken lights can lead to sad and irreparable consequences. "

In this regard, during the spring field work the control over the release of a line of vehicles from transport companies will be strengthened.

In addition, as planned are offshore activities to identify traffic violations in the network of local roads and in rural areas.
