Kazakh Honorary Consulate opened in Turkish Konya city

Turkey Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, State Minister Egemen Bagysh, Konya Governor Aydın Nezih Doğan, Mayor of Konya city Tahir Akyurek, representatives of non-governmental organizations, business community and mass media took part in the opening.
The Head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry complimented rising prestige of our country, noting that Kazakhstan is an important strategic partner of Turkey, key factor of unity of Turkic people, whose ideological instigator is President N.Nazarbayev. He said that opening of the Consulate proves multifaceted contend of the Kazakh-Turkish partnership and aimed at development of interregional cooperation between two states.
Kazakh Ambassador to Turkey Bagdat Amreyev said that this event is one of the results of realization of the Strategic Partnership Treaty signed within the official visit of the Kazakh President to Turkey in 2009 and providing development of interaction on all directions including establishment of contacts between different regions of two countries.
The Kazakh Consul noted that he is ready to contribute to increase of the level of trade and economic relations between our states.
