Kazakh Healthcare Minister opened new Positron Emission Tomography Center in Astana

ASTANA. March 26. KAZINFORM /Gulnara Zhandagulova/ Kazakh Minister of Healthcare Zhaksylyk Doskaliyev has opened Positron Emission Tomography Center in Astana today.
"The complex is built for both Kazakhstanis and foreign citizens who come to our country. I mean the diplomatic corpse and people leaving here for a long period. Besides, the center is open for our neighbors Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Russia and China as well", Z.Doskaliyev said.
Positron Emission Tomography (PET) is the newest method of radiologic diagnosis, allows both to take image of the internal organs and estimate their function and metabolism. The introduction of the technical innovation allows to indentify diseases at the earliest stage.
