Kazakh Government to provide over KZT 2.8 bln for Zhanaozen rehabilitation

ASTANA. January 10. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakh Government adopted a resolution on allocation of funds from the Governmental reserve for emergency expenses.
"The resolution provides for allocation of KZT 2.8 billion from the governmental reserve for restoration of Zhanaozen facilities and purchase of equipment," said Kazakh Vice Minister for Emergency Situations Valery Petrov when introducing the draft resolution at the Government's sitting on Tuesday.
According to him, the funds will also be aimed at restoring the affected office buildings and the surrounding settlements, material and technical equipment of state institutions, state agencies and compensation for expenses incurred during the state of emergency.
