Kazakh-German Intergovernmental working group on trade-economic coop held 4th session in Berlin

The Kazakh delegation was headed by First Vice Minister of Industry and New Technologies Albert Rau, the German - Deputy Federal Minister of Economics and Technology Karl-Ernst Brauner.
The German partners representing state bodies, companies, economic unions were informed of the measures taken by the Kazakh Government on industrialization and modernization of the country's economy.
The sides discussed main directions and priorities of trade-economic cooperation development, including joint efforts on stimulation of the two countries' business communities for joint projects realization and the corresponding agreements achievement within the framework of a visit of Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel to Kazakhstan this year.
There was adopted a number of important decisions on further promotion of bilateral interaction in the spheres of ecology, agriculture, healthcare and etc.
Within the framework of the visit Albert Rau met with Minister of State at the Foreign Office under the Foreign Minister Cornelia Pieper. Discussing the topical state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, including the issues of preparation for the visit of Angela Mekel to Kazakhstan, the parties agreed upon some positions.
A.Rau also met with heads of the German companies and development institutions: Orwimed GmbH, Roth & Rau AG, Chandler, Safe ID Solutions, DEG, GIC, Berlin Chemie, Funke Group, RMA-Armaturen, Vestas and Ost West Ltd. and etc.
