Kazakh FM, UN Secretary General met in New York
Besides, Idrissov held talks with Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon to debate urgent urgent issues of cooperation between Kazakhstan and the UN, the Foreign Ministry's press service said. Ban Ki-moon highly appreciated kazakhstan's contribution made to strengthening global security and ensuring economic development in Central Asia and outside the region wishing President Nursultan Nazarbayev and people of Kazakhstan success and prosperity. In his turn, Idrissov confirmed the country's firm stance on further strengthening the UN authority as the key world organization standing for joint settlement of global problems. The sides noted the importance of consistent efforts of the world community to outline and fulfill Sustainable development Goals after 2015.
