Kazakh First Vice PM gives instructions to Ministry of Emergencies

ASTANA. February 1. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakh Ministry of Emergencies held a board meeting to sum up the results of its work for 2011 on Wednesday in Astana.
First Vice Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov gave a number of instructions to the leadership and staff of the Ministry.
"First of all, it is necessary to introduce a bill "On civil protection" to the Parliament as soon as possible. Then, it is needed to continue strengthening material and technical equipment of rescue and fire fighting services of the Emergencies Ministry," the Vice Premier noted.
Akhmetov also urged to pay special attention to developing air rescue service, increasing efficiency of management in crisis situations, coordinating work of en-route rescue points.
